Preparations for Visit

Cleaning Pre-Visit

  • Please remove any small items such as lamps, magazine racks, floor plants, etc. from any areas that are going to be cleaned.
  • Please remove all fragile and valuable items from furniture which will have to be moved.
  • Please pin up any full-length draperies so that they are at least 6 inches off the floor.
  • Please pin up any skirts on upholstered furniture that are touching the floor you are having cleaned.
  • If beds are on wheels, we can move them from side to side or clean around as space allows. Computer equipment, china cabinets, sectional sofas, entertainment centers, antique and fragile furniture cannot be moved. However, carpet underneath such items can be cleaned where sufficient room is available, or we can edge right around the base.
  • Please put your pets in a safe, quiet place where our cleaning won't disturb them.
  • For the safety of your little ones, please keep an extra close eye on them.

During the Cleaning Visit

  • You will be given a 2 hour window when your cleaning will occur.
  • Technicians will arrive to perform a pre-inspection walk through your home with you to view the area to be cleaned.
  • During the pre-inspection walk-through with your technicians, please advise them of any special requirements to follow when moving your furniture such as weak legs, loose tops or previous repairs.
  • Please call attention to any spots or concerns in the areas to be cleaned.
  • Please discuss with your technician any areas that have had spots that are not currently visible.  That stain may still be in the carpet fibers and may be “brought up” once the carpet or upholstery dries.
  • We will discuss with you the best process to fit your needs and answer any questions.
  • If you have paid for us to do so, we will move appropriate furniture when we arrive.
  • Once the floor is cleaned, we will return the furniture we have moved to its original location and place pads under furniture legs to protect the carpet while it dries.
  • We will complete a final inspection with you to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Cleaning Post-Visit

  • Our powerful vacuums remove almost all moisture immediately, but your carpet or upholstery may still be damp to the touch.  Please be aware that walking from recently cleaned carpet to hard surfaces may cause them to be slippery, causing hazards.
  • Use fans or turn on your air conditioner to help accelerate drying time.
  • If you have had a previous stain on your carpet before our visit that was not properly addressed, this stain may be still hiding in your carpet fibers.  Once the carpet has completely dried, it may reappear.  Be sure to let your technician know about this before hand.
  • Leave the protective pads under furniture legs in place until the carpet is completely dry.
  • You may walk on your carpet immediately after cleaning but be aware that street shoes may re-soil your carpet.
  • If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the work performed we will immediately rectify the situation.  If we are unable to do so to your satisfaction, you will receive 100% of your money back, guaranteed.
